Jermuk health resort is situated in the south-eastern part of Armenia, in 175 km distance from Yerevan, 2080 meters above the sea level. Climate is mountainous, alpine, summers are cool, winters are long with heavy snows. The main things that attract people are the sunny weather, exclusive medicinal mineral water, picturesque views of the nature, soft climate, fresh air and temperate humidity. Therefore, Jermuk is considered to be one of the most convenient places of treatment, leisure and entertainment in Armenia.
The main medicinal factor of the resort place is mineral water both for external and internal use. The mineral water of Jermuk has a complex composition: carbon dioxide gas, hydro carbonates, sulfate, chloral, natrium, potassium, calcium, brome, magnesium. Resort doctors claim that waters of Jermuk are useful for treatment of various illnesses and for their prevention.
