10:00 AM Departure from Yerevan
10:30 AM First stop – Saint Hripsime’s Church which is one of the oldest surviving churches in Armenia. It is located at Ejmiatsin. This church is considered to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
11:30 AM Visiting Saint Gayane’s Church – one of the masterpieces of Armenian architecture from VII century.
12:30 PM Visiting Ejmiatsin Cathedral – the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, built in the 4th century. That is one of the ancient Christian structures in the world.
13:30 PM Visiting the treasure-house of Holy Ejmiatsin, the house of numerous valuable items. There is also the holy Geghard’s lance that pierced the side of Christ by the Roman soldier.
14:30 PM Lunch.
16:30 PM Visiting Sardarapat Memorial complex, which was built in 1968. There is the Ethnographic Museum where various archaeological artifacts remain.
18:00 PM Return to Yerevan
