| 14 Aug | Arrival – City tour in Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan – capital city of Armenia. Meeting at the airport Zvartnots by the representative of “L & I Tour”. Transfer to a hotel. Accommodation and a little rest. In the evening Sightseeing tour of the city with a tour of the Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Opera House, the Cascade complex with an incredible overview of the city and legendary mount Ararat. You can enjoy the fountains of the Republic Square. Return to hotel. |
| 15 Aug | Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Sevan (Sevanavank) – Yerevan
Breakfast in hotel. Journey to Tsaghkadzor and rise on Tsaghkadzor ropeway. Visiting famous Kecharis monastery and enjoying Armenian cross-stones. Journey to Lake Sevan, the largest lake in Caucasus and the highest fresh-water lake in the world. Dinner in Sevan. Return to Yerevan. |
| 16 Aug | Yerevan – Geghard – Garni – Yerevan
Breakfast in hotel. Journey to the cave monastery Geghard, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Then you will go to Garni temple which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. It is a blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles. Dinner in restaurant with lavash baking ceremony. Family photo shoots , wearing Armenian traditional costumes of different regions of historical Armenia.Return to hotel. |
| 17 Aug | Yerevan – Sahgmosanavk – Alphabet Alley – Dendropark – Yerevan
Breakfast in hotel. Journey to Saghmosavank: 13th century Armenian monastic complex located in the Aragatsotn Province. The complex is situated at the gorge of the River Kasagh. You will also see the monument to the Armenian alphabet in the form of 36 letters carved from tuff. Then you will go to Dendropark. Dendropark is the only garden in Southern Caucasus that was transformed from forest into an arboretum. There is a tradition connected with the beautiful wooden bridge located in Dendropark. When passing the bridge for the first time, one can make a wish, and it will come true for sure. Return to Yerevan. |

Breakfast in hotel .Visit to The Holy center of Armenia, Saint Echmiatsin that was built in 303 A.D., considered as the eldest among all Christian churches around the world,you’ll visit Saint Gayane that is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List along with Saint Echmiatcin and The Zvartnoc Cathedral w hich is a marvelous temple is a result of skillfulness and brave creativity of Armenian architects of the 7th century. At the end of the day you’ll get acquainted with the history of brandy making in Armenia, follow its production phases and enjoy the delicious taste and flavor of different kinds of ARARAT brandies just from the first hand. Return to Yerevan. |
| 19 Aug | Shopping day in Yerevan
It’s time for shopping in Yerevan. We will visit the Vernisage – souvenir market, where you can buy souvenirs, gold and silver products, ceramics and local products which are in high demand among the tourists. Then we will go to the market of sweets and dried fruits of local preparation. Also you can buy wine, cognac, herbs and sweets there. We will visit Zoo Park. The Yerevan Zoo has 2,600 animals of 190 different species, including an aquarium with over 800 fish! There are rare birds and large mammals such as tigers and bears, as well as a special exhibit on snakes. Visiting the zoo can be not only a fun, but also an education experience for the whole family. |
